Four players from the Kukri kitted Wainuiomata High School have made the 17-strong tournament team following the national secondary schools rugby league championships in Wainuiomata.
St Paul's College took the honours by beating Wainuiomata High School 28-0 in the final - winning their 12th title in 14 years - but Wainui can hold their heads high with Blaise Lomax, Jerome Easthope, Mathew Harrison and Kieran O'Brien all booking a place in the elite team.

The Kukri kitted Upper Hutt Colts secured the U21 1st Division John E Kelly Memorial Cup after a torrid final against MSP.
